Formulation Chemist - Personal Care - Cambridgeshire or Devon

Looking for both graduates and junior Chemists for one of the top UK manufacturing partners for well-known brands and retailers. The award winning business has is renowned for developing their staff, there are genuine opportunities to progress your career to senior level as a Development Chemist. For graduates you would have a set salary increase every periodically over a 3 year period. The successful Formulation Chemist will work for a business with an excellent reputation setting the benchmark in regards to quality and innovation within Private Label and Contract Manufacturing.

Responsibilities:
Researching and developing new formulations in line with cosmetics regulations
Attending NPD meetings
Deputising for senior chemists
Liasing with customers and business development team
Reviewing technical data
Approving stability testing on company products
Liaising with internal teams such as process, production, purchasing and quality
Dealing with reps from perfume and raw material companies
Ensuring that approved formulations are validated, prior to production
Seminars that’s associated with product development


Experience & Qualifications:
Educated within Chemistry or relevant subject.
Formulation experience or knowledge
Cosmetics regulatory experience or knowledge is highly desirable.
