Development Chemist – Personal Care – Northampton

Opportunity for a Development Chemist to join a global organisation shaping the industry in a new opening due to an internal promotion. Excellent benefits, a unique career path and excellent training are on offer in this Formulation Chemist. As the business operates on a smaller team structure you will see your work hit the market and make an impact quickly. Graduates and experience formulation candidates will be considered for this role!

Requirements:

 - Chemistry, Cosmetic Science degree or relevant subject
 - Any FMCG/Household/Personal Care related lab experience would be highly desirable
 - Personal Care formulation development knowledge would be ideal
 - Attention to detail and good sense of smell
 - Passionate for cosmetics, fragrances or relevant consumer goods

Responsibilities:
 - Stability testing of fragrances Raw Materials in a range of consumer products 
 - Smelling samples (Excellent training included)
 - Make up Personal Care, Household bases 
 - Keeping stock of formulations and their ingredients.
 - Developing new Personal Care formulas: 
 - Investigate new ingredients, keeping up to date with market trends 
 - Carry out a variety of testing
 - Making up finished product samples
